As part of the 2026 MLK Celebration, the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative Commission and the Oak Ridge Environmental Peace Alliance invite you to an evening of meaningful conversation and collective reflection at our annual Community Forum.
Unlike traditional programs where the audience listens to a single speaker, this forum is designed for two-way dialogue. Participants will gather around tables for guided conversations on the pressing issues shaping our communities today — exploring challenges, sharing lived experiences, and envisioning pathways toward justice and unity.
“This is an opportunity not just to listen, but to speak,” says Rev. Renee Kesler, President of the Beck Cultural Exchange Center. “We want to ensure there’s always a space where the community has a voice at the table.”
Join neighbors, leaders, and changemakers as we come together in fellowship and courageous conversation — building bridges across differences and answering the 2026 call to action: One Community, One Purpose, One Dream.
