Youth Symposium
Jack & Jill Oratorical Contest
Saturday, January 13th @ 8:30am
A day packed with fun, educational activities, free food, entertainment, and much more presented by the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative Commission and the Knoxville Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc.
The MLK Youth Symposium is geared to enhance students’ knowledge of social justice, civic engagement, and personal development in Knox County and surrounding counties. The MLK Commission has taken on the role of being a sounding board for current student’s goals, aspirations, and desires. The primary focus of the symposium is to engage, educate, and empower students and young adults in preparation for life.
The MLK Youth Symposium team has planned several exciting activities for your child(ren) this year at Austin-East Magnet High School on January 13, 2024 (8:30am – 2:00pm). - Oratorical Contest hosted by Knoxville Chapter of Jack and Jill of America
- Special Entertainment
